Thank you Culver’s for sponsoring this post!
Father’s Day is coming up, and I wanted to do something special to spoil Brad this year. After all, he is the world’s best girl dad, and if you have been following along, you’ll know he’s the most hardworking and handy dad who built out an entire camper van twice now for us to travel in! Since he has been putting in a lot of time on the latest build, I knew the best way to spoil him for Father’s Day was to give him a lot of time with the girls this month. So, the other day the girls and I picked Daddy up from work and surprised him with a daddy-daughter dinner date at Culver’s topped off by enjoying their amazing Fresh Frozen Custard at the park. We love Culver’s and usually go through the drive-thru because it’s a delicious, easy dinner on our way home from work, but today we decided to sit down in the restaurant and enjoy the extra time together.
We love Culver’s because there is something on the menu for everyone in the family! The other great thing about Culver’s is that all their food is cooked to order, which means it’s super fresh because they cook it specifically for you and your order! Also, as someone who grew up in the Midwest, I love having a little connection to my childhood here in the South.
Brad went with their famous ButterBurger, while I went with the Bacon Deluxe Burger. The twins both had chicken tenders kid meals, which come with either fries or applesauce, a drink, and frozen custard for dessert. We got Heidi the grilled cheese kid’s meal. I also ordered a large helping of Wisconsin Cheese Curds for the table because who can pass up on fried cheesy goodness?! Check out all the amazing food on their menu here!

The service was amazing! The person who took our order made a note on our order for us to come back to pick up our frozen custards after we ate dinner, which worked out great because we wanted to take them To-Go to the park. They bring your food to the table, so while we waited the girls colored on their provided coloring sheets. Daddy was playing games with the girls and shooting the straw wrappers at them. Anyone else’s dad do this?
It wasn’t long before the food came, and the conversation and laughter lulled as we all chowed down on our delicious meals. Seriously, so tasty and filling!

Afterward, I went back for our frozen custards. Culver’s food is amazing but hands down their Fresh Frozen Custard are the best of all! Brad always asks for a crazy combination of chocolate, butterfingers, and strawberries. I went with classic vanilla with cookie dough. And the girls had vanilla with blue sprinkles and chocolate with strawberries. It’s fun to see everyone’s personality come out in their frozen custards. In case you’re wondering, poor Heidi had to share with us because she would be wearing the whole thing if we gave her one of her own. We took the frozen custards to-go to a nearby park and topped off the fun evening together enjoying the frozen custards outside in the summer breeze and then playing on the playground.

If you are looking for a Father’s Day gift idea this year, I highly recommend stopping in at your local Culver’s and treating the dad in your life to a fun (and delicious) evening of togetherness with the family!
